The work in the Rosenbaum Lab (Microbial Electrocatalysis) is focused around bioelectrochemical systems and defined microbial mixed cultures. Specifically, our research interests are the investigation, understanding, and manipulation of microorganisms in electrochemical interaction with electrodes and of inter-microbial relationships in these environments.
As of October 1st, 2017, Prof. Rosenbaum moved to Friedrich-Schiller-University and the Leibniz Institute HKI to Jena. All research activities will now be re-established at HKI Bio Pilot Plant (http://www.leibniz-hki.de/en/biotechnikum.html). But a part of the Rosenbaum Lab will still be active at the iAMB for the next couple of years.
